Asante Kotoko midfielder, Sheriff Mohammed has recognized the increasing pressure on the club as a result of their recent Ghana Premier League draw with Bechem United.

Sheriff was a member of the team that saw Kotoko play Bechem United to a draw at Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.

Peter Acquah scored his first goal for the Porcupine Warriors in the game, but Augustine Okrah’s goal for Bechem United tied the score in the end.

Kotoko is preparing for their upcoming battle, an away game against Nsoatreman FC on matchday eight of the domestic top-flight, as the pressure mounts.

Sheriff emphasized the team’s commitment to winning on Thursday at Nana Koramansah Park.

“Drawing against Bechem United puts pressure on us. We travel to face Nsoatreman in our next Ghana Premier League game, and we have no excuse other than to win the match on Thursday.”

Asante Kotoko currently occupy the seventh position on the league table with 10 points, and they are eager to make a strong comeback when they face the league leaders on Thursday.
