Angry Jurgen Klopp storms out of interview after Reporter asked him this question as Liverpool lose to Man Utd (Watch Video)

Jurgen Klopp fumed at a reporter’s “dumb question” after Liverpool’s dramatic FA Cup exit to Manchester United.

The Reds’ boss was furious after his side let the lead slip twice before their astonishing loss to Erik ten Hag’s side. Liverpool were pegged back by a late equaliser by Antony in normal time and another one from Marcus Rashford in extra-time.

As both managers and all those watching in Old Trafford were getting ready for a penalty shoot-out, Amad Diallo score a late winner into the bottom corner, after being played through by Alejandro Garnacho. After the match, Klopp became irked when he was asked about his side’s intensity in extra-time.

Klopp’s quick exit came during an interview with Norwegian television channel VSport1. The interviewer asked: “Normally intensity is the name of your game, so how come it became so difficult in extra time?” The German stared at the reporter with a slightly confused look and said: “Bit of a dumb question I feel. We have played, I don’t know how many games recently. I don’t know how many games United have exactly played.

“That’s sport. I’m really disappointed with that question, but you thought, obviously, it’s good.” When the reporter replied: “So, too many games,” Klopp patted him on the shoulder, ushered his way past and said: “Come on, you are obviously not in a great shape and I have no nerves for you.”

Considering the Liverpool players had played the best part of 120 minutes, some may understand why Klopp was taken aback by a question about his side’s intensity. But few would have expected him to react in such a manner. Liverpool were fighting on three fronts before the Red Devils ended their FA Cup title defence. However, rival fans were not going to give Klopp the benefit of the doubt.
