A heartbreaking story about a woman, her husband, and their 13-year-old daughter has appeared online, sparking many reactions.
The news was shared by a user named @PharmUcheey on X, revealing that the woman discovered her husband, who has HIV, has been abusing their daughter in Imo state.
The woman noticed her daughter was bleeding. At first, she thought the girl was just beginning her period and tried to reassure her. Later, the 13-year-old admitted that a man had defiled her.
The story reads, “My heart has been shattered in a thousand pieces, and I weep as I type this I work in a specialist hospital, and there is an HIV/AIDS patient that comes here for their medication. He has a HIV- wife, essentially a discordant couple. His wife was previously a poor widow, with two sons and a 13yo daughter, she got married because of hardship. She came to the hospital this morning with the 13yo in tears and unimaginable pain. She found out her HIV+ husband has repeatedly ra$ed the 13yo without protection over the course of three weeks and threatened her not to tell This Man in question has a high viral load and he is aware, this was a 100% intentional act of dem ic wi edness, a supposed step father”.
“She found out about it when she saw her daughter bl eeding (as a result of mechanical dam ge to her organs) and thought it was the onset of her menses, probed a little further and the young girl fessed up to the SA, she has moved out of his house with her kids and confessed her inability to do anything about him”.
“I can’t believe demons like this still walk free, and I’m not even sure exactly what to do, because this country is designed in such a way that criminals walk free; I’m not even sure reporting this to the police will the right move because those people will probably downplay this and this criminal eventually walks free instablog9ja I have taken the Woman’s contact, and told her something will be done nan’s co to bring the man to Justice.”
The post sparked a huge response as many internet users flooded the comment section.

@onyinyechukwu______ said, “This just reminded me about a podcast where some group of elderly women said if their husband did something like this they won’t report him to the authorities instead they will settle it among families”.
@liarels____ said, “She married him cos of hardship. When we women realize that man, marriage all of that doesn’t equate to prosperity but the work of our hands, we’ll avoid certain problems. When there’s no money and things are down, our hands should be the man we run to, that’s our cue to work hard. So sorry to the young girl, I’m deeply sorry for the way her life has been messed up, so so traumatic. This is hard and painful to read”.
