Asiedu Nketiah, the General Secretary of the NDC, has revealed some exciting plans for the free SHS program if the NDC wins the upcoming election! Firstly, they plan to build 200 schools, with 130 already completed. The NPP wasn’t able to finish the remaining 30 schools, but the NDC is committed to doing so.
Secondly, the NDC wants to change the double track system to a single track system. This means all students will get enough teaching and learning time in school. The current system has been criticized for limiting student learning time, and the NDC believes a single track system will provide a better learning environment.
Asiedu Nketiah and the NDC are passionate about improving education in Ghana. They want to make sure all Ghanaian students have access to quality education. By building more schools and changing the track system, the NDC hopes to achieve this goal.
