Asamoah Gyan has commended current Black Stars player Mohammed Kudus for his outstanding performance in Ghana’s second Group B match at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cote d’Ivoire.
Kudus on Thursday, 18 January 2024, gave Black Stars their first point at the ongoing tournament after he scored 2 goals.
In a post on X following the game, the former Black Stars Captain Gyan, said: “This is what we call quality. Kudussssss.”
After drawing against Egypt 2:2, however, Ghana would have to win the final group match against Mozambique to keep the dream of progressing to the next stage of the tournament alive.
