The National Communications Authority (NCA) has announced that Starlink will work actively in Ghana by the close of August.
This welcoming news has been accepted by heavy internet users in Ghana, as they are of the view that their challenges with the Internet will be over.
Starlink has since provided an update on their website on the prices, among others, of their services provided in Ghana.
Starlink is the world’s first and largest satellite constellation using a low Earth orbit to deliver broadband internet capable of supporting streaming, online gaming, video calls and more.
Leveraging advanced satellites and user hardware coupled with our deep experience with both spacecraft and on-orbit operations, Starlink delivers high-speed, low-latency internet to users all over the world.
Ghanaians will have to pay a total of $300 for the hardware for starlink.
