A shocking confession has emerged on Adom FM, where a taxi driver admitted to leading a group of illegal miners (galamseyers) in the Eastern Region to bury a pregnant woman alive for ritual purposes.
The driver, whose identity was not disclosed, revealed that the horrifying incident took place four years ago at a mining site. According to his account, the group believed the sacrifice would bring them success in their illegal mining activities.
After the ritual, the driver claimed he reported the incident to the police. However, he alleges that he was told to remain silent about it, a decision that has haunted him ever since.
The confession has sparked outrage, with calls for an immediate investigation into both the ritual killing and the alleged police cover-up. Authorities are yet to comment on the matter.
