Suspected Cult Leader Caught Hiding 2 Stolen School Going Children Inside His House

According to the report by TV3 GH today, in Accra Ghana, police have arrested a man suspected of leading a cult after he was found hiding two stolen school-going children in his house.

The suspect, identified as Kofi Mensah, was caught red-handed by local authorities during a raid at his residence in the heart of Accra city.

The children, 12-year-old Kwame Addo and 10-year-old Ama Nyarko, were reported missing two days earlier by their parents.

According to the police, the children were last seen leaving their school in Adabraka before they mysteriously disappeared.

Concerned parents and community members quickly alerted the police, leading to an intense search operation.

Chief Inspector Daniel Owusu, who led the operation, explained what happened.

“We received credible information from a neighbor who became suspicious of unusual activities at Mr. Mensah’s house. Acting on this tip-off, we stormed the premises and found the two children locked inside a room.”

When questioned by the police, Kofi Mensah claimed he was “sheltering” the children.

“I was just protecting them from harm,” he said during his arrest. However, the police have not found any evidence to support his claims.

Instead, preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect might have been planning to use the children for ritual purposes.

Ama Nyarko, one of the rescued children, tearfully told the police, “He told us not to speak to anyone and that we would be safe with him. I just want to go back to my parents.”

Residents of the area expressed shock and anger over the incident.

“I’ve known Kofi Mensah for years, but I never imagined he could do something like this,” said Josephine Adjei, a neighbor.

“We need to protect our children from people like him.”

The police have assured the public that justice will be served.

“We are taking this matter very seriously,” said Chief Inspector Owusu.

“Parents should remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities in their communities.”

Kwame and Ama have been reunited with their families, who have expressed gratitude to the police and community members for their swift action.

Kofi Mensah is currently in police custody and is expected to appear in court soon to face charges of child abduction and endangerment.
