Ghanaian gospel musician, Esther Twumasi known in the industry as Winner Esther based in Accra Pokuase has said, many artists are in the gospel music industry, but very few have discovered the specific message they have for people that can define them in Ghana
According to winner Esther, gospel music is about using song to convey your personal story, so to become a good gospel singer there must be a believe behind what you sing, even if you are not a Christian, and there is a lot within the music that anyone can identify with. Themes of love or peace or wanting to be a better person, but don’t fake it.
“Most of the gospel artists are not from God, their using “juju” behind. Esther believes that writing from her heart can bring healing, hope, encouragement, and strengthen the faith of the listeners, but this time around, they sing for fame and business. No song with which you feel a connection, again no gospel song can heal anymore because there is something evil behind.
” With my newly released album” BOMEHOBAN “is an album for all ,which has inspirational songs created to encourage believers and non – believers around the world to press on through every trial, it will also empower every human creature to know God is with us all days and all time, said winner Esther.
