Ace broadcaster Adakabre Frimpong Manso has disclosed the possession of a significant audio recording featuring the late Chief Executive Officer of Labianca Company Limited, Eunice Jacqueline Buah Asomah-Hinneh.
According to Adakabre, the audio originates from an interview conducted with Eunice Buah in August 2023.
He recalled being contacted by her for a meeting at her residence while he was at home.
Adakabre honoured her request to arrive without his car and upon arrival, he was escorted to her bedroom. There, Eunice Buah confided in him and shared various details for over an hour.
After the recording session, Adakabre stated that Eunice Buah instructed him not to broadcast the tape but to keep it until after her demise.
Following her passing on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, Adakabre expressed uncertainty about the appropriate course of action regarding the audio he has safeguarded since their meeting.
“In August 2023, I received a call from La Bianca, who asked me to visit her home. Heeding her request, I went without my vehicle. She led me to her bedroom and inquired if I had brought a recorder, to which I replied negatively.
“She intended to share something with me for the sake of posterity. She did not specify whether to broadcast the tape or not; she merely requested that I keep it until she was no longer alive.
“The contents of the audio are substantial and incendiary. In the recording, which lasts over an hour, my voice is heard only twice—at the start and the end. I have preserved the recording but now face a dilemma. I am uncertain about whether to release it and, if so, when,” he explained.
