Following the recent presidential elections, renowned Ghanaian prophet Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah has delivered a compelling message to Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, a key figure in the New Patriotic Party (NPP). His remarks come after Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s presidential candidate, lost to the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) John Dramani Mahama.
Speaking during a church service, Rev. Owusu Bempah encouraged Kennedy Agyapong to remain active in politics despite the current political climate. “Hon. Kennedy Agyapong should not quit politics. If he is considering stepping away, someone should advise him not to,” he urged, addressing speculation that Agyapong might withdraw from the political scene.
The prophet went on to declare that God has a significant plan for Agyapong’s future in Ghanaian politics. “All he needs to ask God for is long life and good health. I have seen that a time will come when he will become the president of Ghana. He should just stay on the right path. This is not just because many Ghanaians support him, but because God has revealed it to me,” Rev. Bempah stated.
He further revealed that this prophecy was shown to him even before the NPP’s primaries, in which Kennedy Agyapong contested for the party’s leadership. According to Rev. Bempah, he had personally shared this revelation with Agyapong ahead of the primaries.
While the prophet did not specify whether Agyapong’s presidency would occur in the next election cycle or later, he expressed certainty that it would happen “one day.”
