Help has finally arrived for veteran gospel musician Edward Akwasi Boateng after a video of him selling CDs and pen drives at a truck stop went viral.
In a touching show of generosity, a Ghanaian prophet by the name of Bernard gave Mr. Boateng a brand-new car, covered all of his children’s tuition fees to the university level, and promised him a monthly income.
On February 25, 2024, the man of God, who happens to be the founder and leader of The Spirit Life Revival Ministry, cordially welcomed Edward Akwasi Boateng to his Accra congregation.
Mr. Boateng, who could not believe what was unfolding right before his eyes, broke down in tears, expressing his overwhelming appreciation.
Edward Akwasi Boateng gained attention when he was seen selling pen drives and CDs containing his music at a bus station in Kumasi. In a video, he was sitting on a bench with a megaphone, urging people to purchase his products.
Boateng revealed two years ago that his marriage was a turning point in his struggles, citing mistreatment and financial demands from his wife.
He had to sell 17 vehicles to cope with the situation. His recent public appearance has sparked online discussions, with some expressing concern for his well-being. Boateng is known for hits like Makoma So Ade, Kae Asem A Waka, Mebo Wodin among others.
