President John Mahama has named nine more ministers of state.
This is contained in a press statement dated January 16, 2025 intercepted by 3news.
They are;
1 Ministry of Roads and Highways – Kwame Governs Agbodza, MP
2 Ministry of Food and Agriculture – Eric Opoku, MP
3 Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection – Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, MP
4 Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts – Abla Dzifa Gomashie, MP
5 Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture Emelia Arthur, MP
6 Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment – George Opare-Addo
7 Ministry of Education – Haruna Iddrisu, MP
8 Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs – Ahmed Ibrahim, MP
9 Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry – Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, MP
The statement also named three more regional ministers, namely;
1 Western North Wilbert Petty Brentum
2 Central Eduamoah Ekow Panyin Okyere
3 Western Joseph Nelson Ministers of State.
