Renowned Ghanaian numerologist, Atta Agyemang, has made a bold prediction regarding the outcome of the 2028 presidential elections in Ghana. According to him, Kennedy Agyapong will emerge as the next president of the country. Speaking in an interview on a radio station on Wednesday, March 6, 2025, Atta Agyemang stated that if Kennedy Agyapong is elected as the flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will not be able to win the election. He firmly believes that the NPP’s best chance at reclaiming power lies in choosing Kennedy Agyapong as its leader.
He further elaborated that if Kennedy Agyapong is not selected as the NPP’s flag bearer, there is a strong possibility that he may leave the party to contest as an independent candidate. In such a scenario, Atta Agyemang is confident that Kennedy Agyapong will still go on to win the 2028 elections as an independent candidate.
The numerologist emphasized that for the benefit of the NPP, Kennedy Agyapong must be made the party’s leader to ensure victory. He argued that the party had already missed an opportunity in 2024 by not selecting Agyapong as its candidate. According to him, had Kennedy Agyapong led the NPP in 2024, the party would have remained in power. Atta Agyemang also spoke about a key factor influencing electoral choices in Ghana. He claimed that many voters, especially those from the Ashanti Region, prefer an Akan leader for the NPP rather than a candidate from the northern part of the country. This, he suggested, played a role in the party’s performance in the 2024 elections.
He stated that the NDC’s only chance of victory in 2028 depends on whether or not Kennedy Agyapong contests. If he does, either as an NPP candidate or an independent, Atta Agyemang believes he will undoubtedly become Ghana’s next president.
