13 Dec

According to the video posted on twitter today by ChannelOne TV, Police in the Volta Region have arrested a notorious gang leader who was using homemade guns, knives, and an axe to terrorize local communities.

The arrest came after a series of police operations aimed at tackling crime in the area.

The gang leader was caught with dangerous weapons that were reportedly used in violent crimes such as robberies and threatening residents.

A source from the police force said that the man had been a key figure in a gang that had been disturbing people in the region for months.

“We had been investigating this gang for a long time. This arrest is a big step in stopping their activities,” said one police officer. The gang leader had been using his homemade guns and knives to force people to give him money and steal from local businesses.

“The weapons they had were not the usual guns you see. They made their own weapons to intimidate and rob people,” the officer added.

The homemade guns, knives, and axe were found in the suspect’s possession when he was arrested.

These weapons were not only used for robberies but were also used to threaten anyone who tried to resist them. The police are still investigating to see if other gang members were involved.

“We are looking for other members of the gang. We believe there are more people involved, and we are doing everything we can to stop them,” said the police spokesperson.

Community members in the Volta Region have welcomed the news of the arrest.

“We are happy to hear that the man has been arrested. We have been living in fear for too long,” said a local resident.

“It’s a relief to know that someone who has been causing so much harm is finally in police custody.”

The police say they are working hard to bring peace back to the area and prevent further crimes.

This arrest is seen as a major victory for law enforcement, but the police have warned that more work is needed.

“We will not stop until we have completely dealt with the problem of gangs in this region,” said the spokesperson.

The police urge community members to report any suspicious activities and work together to keep their neighborhoods safe.
