The esteemed founder and leader of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), Dr. Mensa Otabil has been recognized as a source of inspiration and guidance for countless individuals.
Among those touched by his profound influence are Adjetey Anang and his wife Elom, who experienced a remarkable journey towards parenthood with the assistance of the renowned preacher.
In her memoir, Elom recounts the pivotal encounter that took place between the couple and Dr. Mensa Otabil in 2013.
Seeking solace and direction after six years of marriage without a child, they found themselves in a meeting with the man of God. During their conversation, Dr. Otabil posed a simple question: “How long have you been married?” Prompted by the pastor’s inquiry, Adjetey and Elom openly shared their struggles and uncertainty about their future.
Moved by their story, Dr. Otabil interjected, leading the conversation towards a moment of prayer. United in faith, they embraced the power of collective supplication.
With unwavering conviction, Dr. Otabil declared that, in their seventh year of marriage, the couple would experience the joy of having a child. United in prayer, they embarked on a journey of hope, eagerly awaiting the fulfillment of the divine promise. As destiny would have it, Elom conceived in the seventh year, aligned perfectly with the theme of “Perfection” chosen by ICGC for that specific year.
The couple’s faith, coupled with the fervent prayers of Dr. Otabil and the other pastors involved, materialized in the birth of their long-awaited son. Dr Mensah Otabil
Elom, deeply grateful for the pivotal role played by Dr. Otabil, reflects on the profound impact of his words and encouragement, as well as those of Rev. Christopher Annor and Prophet El Bernard.
Their unwavering support served as a beacon of strength during their moments of doubt and difficulty, ultimately leading them to their miracle.
Adjetey Anang, celebrated for his remarkable acting career, recently commemorated his golden jubilee anniversary with the release of his memoir, “Adjetey Anang: A Story of Faith, Imperfection, and Resilience.” Dr. Mensa Otabil’s impact extends far beyond his role as a preacher; he exemplifies the transformative power of faith and the capacity for miracles.
