Ghanaian media presenter Okatakyie Afrifa has disclosed that he is facing threats to his life after receiving a chilling message from someone who had previously threatened Kozie Manu. In a recent social media post, Okatakyie Afrifa shared that the individual sent him a message saying, “I WILL KILL YOU.”
In response to the threat, Okatakyie Afrifa was unapologetic. He stated that while anyone can hide and shoot someone, such actions do not reflect true courage. He described bravery as the act of openly declaring a conflict, setting a time and place, and following the rules of engagement.
Speaking to his political allies, Okatakyie Afrifa reassured the National Democratic Congress (NDC) that he would not be intimidated by threats, coercion, or bullying. His emphatic message declared, “WE SHALL NOT WITHER IN THE FACE OF COERCION AND BULLYING. NEVER!”
In addressing the alleged coward, named George Darko, Afrifa challenged him to reveal his location. “Maybe, you should just drop your location and I shall come in style,” he remarked, indicating his readiness to confront the situation directly.
Okatakyie Afrifa’s post has raised alarms among his supporters, many of whom are urging him to take urgent safety measures. There are also calls for law enforcement to look into the threat and ensure Afrifa’s safety.
This troubling incident underscores the growing risks and tensions that public figures in Ghana are facing. Many are hoping for a peaceful resolution to this situation before it escalates any further.
