NPP’s Andy Appiah Kubi loses to Ohene Kwame Frimpong

New Patriotic Party’s Andy Appiah Kubi has been shown the exit from Parliament after he lost the December 7 elections to an Independent candidate, Ohene Kwame Frimpong.

Ohene Kwame Frimpong garnered 26, 926 votes in the election against Appiah Kubi, who polled 8,933 votes.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate Kofi Asamoah polled 2,469 votes.

Andy Appiah Kubi was in Parliament for two terms and was hoping to get a nod for the third time.
