Per the provisional results from the 2024 elections, some leading Members of Parliament will not return to the lawmaking house.

The 9th Parliament will see a number of new faces as most old faces in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have lost their seats in Parliament.

Their defeat came as a surprise to many who thought they had already secured their seats considering their experience.

These big names won’t be part of the ninth parliament.

1. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful        –          Ablekuma Central
2. Andrew Agyapa Mercer     –           Sekondi
3. Hawa Koomson                   –           Awutu Senya East
4. Henry Quartey                    –           Ayawaso Central
5. Lydia Alhasan                     –           Ayawaso West Wuogon
6. John peter Amewu            –           Hohoe
