Bernard Allotey Jacobs has appealed to the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP) to bring back the leader of the Movement for Change, Alan Kyerematen who was once a prime member of the party and a former Minister for Trade and Industry.
Alan Kyerematen resigned from the party following its presidential election that saw Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President, become their flagbearer.
He accused the NPP of some wrongdoings and defected from the party to form his own political movement and is contesting the December 7 presidential elections as an independent candidate.
Speaking on Peace FM’s morning show “Kokrokoo”, the former NDC Central Regional Chairman, Allotey Jacobs asked the leadership of the NPP to lead their Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako alias Chairman Wontumi to render an apology to Alan Kyerematen, popularly called Alan Cash.
“I plead with the National Officers of the NPP and some prominent elders in Ashanti Region to lead Bernard Antwi Boasiako to apologize to Alan and I believe when they apologize to him, the man will be back to the NPP,” he said.
