Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako known widely as Chairman Wontumi has been asked to start sharing his property if the claim that former Deputy Finance Minister, John Kumah died from food poisoning is anything to go by.
Autopsy reports suggest that the former lawmaker for Ejisu in the Ahanti Region died of Multiple myeloma, a cancer that forms in a type of white blood cell called a plasma cell. Health experts reveal that Healthy plasma cells help fight infections by making proteins called antibodies. Antibodies find and attack germs.
Controversial Kumawood Actor Dada Santo also known as Oboy Siki has however indicated Wontumi may be the next person to die if it is true that the Ejisu MP John Kumah died through food poisoning.
After the death of John Kumah, the Special aide to Chairman Wontumi, Oheneba Nana Asiedu narrated that John Kumah and Chairman Wontumi suffered from food poisoning in Tamale during Vice President Dr Bawumia’s campaign tour.
Speaking in an interview with AMBASSADOR TV monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Oboy Siki emphasized that Chairman Wontumi must prepare his will and start sharing his properties if he stands by the claims of his aide.
“If it is true that they ate poison and through that John Kumah lost his life then nothing on this earth can save Chairman Wontumi. I heard someone saying that Wontumi is still alive because he vomited after taking the food but people shouldn’t forget that food poison is dangerous and no one should joke with it” he told Osei Kwadwo.
“Maybe Wontumi’s aide concocted the poison story for his parochial interest but if it is true then I think Chairman Wontumi should start preparing to follow John Kumah” he added.
“Now John Kumah’s wife is saying different things and Wontumi aide is also saying different things but I think the Ghana Police Service should conduct investigations into the matter”, he demanded.
He explained that “Politicians, celebrities and others should be careful about eating from unknown persons and be mindful about people who are close to them”
