Just recently, the New Patriotic Party, NPP for short, led by the current vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, did achieved something unexpected that may jeopardize the NDC’s chances of winning the presidential election come December.
The NPP posted on their Twitter page, pictures of massive number of supporters and fans during their campaign rally in the Ketu North Constituency in the Volta Region. This may come as a serious shock because the National Democratic Congress have always held the Volta Region as one of their major stronghold for many years.
In the previous 2020 presidential election, Mahama won the popular vote in the Volta Region by a whooping 84.81% while Akuffo Addo had only 14.14%. This goes to show you the extent of the NDC’s reach and support in the Volta Region.
However, the recent pictures of NPP’s rally in the Volta Region, Ketu North Constituency, to be exact, is very alarming and the NDC should not take it lightly. With very few days more to go, any shift in party support by the people of Ghana may prove to be the decider of the election.
