NDC is now angry as they see themselves losing 2024 elections – Bawumia

The flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has indicated that the momentum is now on the side of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Reflecting on a year ago, he noted that there were doubts in the minds of people who thought that the NPP would sink.

He believes these perceptions were fueled by the party’s heated internal elections. However, things are not the same anymore, as the governing political party now has momentum on its side. “Just about a year ago, many people were questioning whether the elephant would be able to ride to victory in 2024.

We were engaged in our internal party primaries and contests, so we were a little distracted, and many people were questioning whether we would be able to win December 2024. “Well, it’s been a year since, and so far, the NPP, the elephant party, is back in very good shape, and we are riding to victory in 2024. “Let us not make any mistake about it; we have 89 days to elections, and we have to work hard. “This is just about three months, and we have to work hard and come together unified in every constituency, electoral area, and polling station to make sure we bring out our people on election day and let people see what the NPP has done.

“So, far, the narrative has changed, the momentum is now on our side. It is clear. A year ago, our opponent seemed confident, but today, rather than being confident, they seem very angry as they see themselves losing this election,” he remarked.
