NDC chairman Asiedu Nketia fires President Akuffo Addo

National Chairman of the largest opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC) Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia has suggested that a medical board to be commissioned to assess the health of President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo.

“Sometimes we need to assess his judgements to ensure the seat of State is safe in his hands . . .” he said.

According to him, the President may be suffering from forgetfulness and will not mention it because of political expediency.

Speaking on Okay FM’s ‘Ade Akye Abia’ programme, he explained that the President over the years had made certain comments which are not befitting of his status.

Those comments can only be made due to ill health, and since we do not know the health status of the President, these acts poses grave threat to the country and the world at large, he said.

He said it will however, be prudent for a medical board to be commissioned so that they can examine the President and probably tell us about his health condition and not expose the country to any external threat with his utterances.

“What I believe can be done to salvage the situation is to have a medical board commissioned to examine him even before he makes public appearance and speeches,” he suggested.
