Nana Aba Anamoah Exposes Ken Ofori Atta

Popular Ghanaian journalist Nana Aba Anamoah has strongly criticized and exposed former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta and has tagged him as the worst finance minister in the country’s history.

Her comments follow recent reports about a raid on Ofori-Atta’s residence in Cantonments by individuals dressed in military uniforms.

In a series of posts on her X page, Nana Aba expressed her opinion that Ofori-Atta failed in his role as finance minister and used Bible verses and white clothing to hide his shortcomings. She stated, “I have no apologies for saying that this man is getting what he deserves. He was the worst finance minister, hiding behind Bible quotes and white outfits.”

Reports indicate that the raid on Ofori-Atta’s home took place on February 11, 2025, while he was outside the country. The reason behind the raid is still unclear, but it has sparked widespread discussions and speculation among the public.

Nana Aba Anamoah’s criticism of Ofori-Atta is not the first time he has faced backlash for his handling of the economy. Many Ghanaians believe that his leadership at the Ministry of Finance contributed to the country’s financial struggles. Throughout his tenure, he often referenced the Bible in his speeches, which some saw as a way of avoiding accountability for his decisions.

The recent raid on his home has only added to the controversy surrounding him. While some believe it is a form of justice for his actions in government, others think it is politically motivated. As of now, Ofori-Atta has not publicly responded to the raid or Nana Aba’s remarks.
