Afrifa Yamoah Ponko, former Chief Executive of the Ejisu-Juaben Municipal Assembly, has died.

The unfortunate incident is said to have happened on Sunday, October 6.

The cause of his death is yet to be established. His death has surprised many within the opposition National Democratic Congress where he was known for his dedication and leadership.

Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communications Officer of the NDC, expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family through a post on Facebook.
