Ruth narrates how her husband would call her his lovers names in his sleep and above all felt free to marry her best friend two days after she left her matrimonial home.
Ruth met her husband after a night of prayers. When she saw him she invited her to his house and proposed for marriage the same day Ruth stayed in his house for a week and After that, she embraced her wifely duties.
Her decision was highly criticized by the church who is relied upon her to have a church wedding. A couple of months later Ruth got pregnant and gave birth. After the birth of her first child, her husband changed a lot. He would get back home late and cc even started drinking alcohol.
A couple of years later he started to physically abuse her and at times he would call her by the names of his lovers who Ruth knew excessively well.
Because of the frustrations, Ruth would confide in her best friend who encouraged her to stay in the marriage. After a while, Ruth figured out that her friend was having romantic chats with her husband. She was angry and left the house. Two days later Ruth was called by her that her neighbor that her husband had married another woman.
She came back to confirm the identity of the woman just to be met by her best friend at the door. Ruth was shocked and vowed never to get back to that house. She later met another man and decided to live a new life.

As if fate wasn’ t her ally her former friend invited Ruth’ s boyfriend at a restaurant and let him know that Ruth was a prostitute and a home breaker.
The accusations were so serious that the man left Ruth and her children and warned her at absolutely no point to search for him in the future. Since then Ruth has spent her life hoping that she will one day find a man who will stand by her.
