The Public relations department of the Methodist Church Ghana has released a press statement concerning the verbal attack on ex- President Mahama by Very Rev. Stephen Bosomtwe Ayensu.

According to the statement dated today10th May, 2022 sighted by marinafradio.com, the Methodist Church wishes to appeal to the General Public and the friends of the Media not to draw the Methodist Church into the alleged statement made by the current Superintendent  Minister  of the Amakom Circuit of the Kumasi Diocese.

The Church also reiterated that it continue to stay unaligned to any political party.
