“Do I invite diseases? So that if at a point in time I get hit by a life threatening disease, and disease takes away money. People have built mansions, disease has taken them away, people have bought cars, diseases have taken them away”. These were the exact words of a visibly angry veteran actor Psalm Adjetefio who has been in the news lately because of his call for assistance as a result of his inability to pay for his rent.
The good thing about his situation was that, after the video of his went viral, many Ghanaians came to his aid, including the second gentleman of the land, Dr. Bawumia. In between these separate events though, many people expressed their thoughts on social media. Unfortunately, some accused the actor of living a life which did not center on building a future. Naturally, such statements would get anybody in T.T.’s position upset.
In reacting to those statements, the actor, visibly angry, stated that nobody has control over sickness and since treating life threatening diseases cost a lot of money, like in his situation, even people with mansions and cars may end up selling all they have to treat themselves.
He asked those who had nothing meaningful to say to shut up. He went a bit extreme obviously from anger to lay curse on such people by saying that he hoped God allowed the devil to visit such people for them to know how it feels like.
