South Africa – A Durban man has been sentenced to 25 years imprisonment for the murder of two beautiful ladies.
On 17th March, the Durban High Court sentenced 31-year-old forex trader named Lungani Mthethwa to 25 years imprisonment after he pleaded guilty to the murders of Zizipho Gabisa and Anele Mbokazi.
The two women were fatally shot on August 25, 2024, in Kentville, Sea Cow Lake, Durban.
The case, which faced earlier delays, including postponed bail hearings in September 2024, concluded with Mthethwa admitting to the killings in a plea that outlined the events leading up to the crime.
According to court records, he and his co-accused, Sandile Chili, had spent the day socializing with the victims and treating them to expensive lunch.
After the lunch and expensive drinks, the ladies refused to join him inside his hotel room.
This made him angry and consequently forced him to pull the trigger.
