Kwame A Plus, a popular Ghanaian social media personality, has recently taken to Facebook to publicly criticize some police officers in Ghana, accusing them of corruption and abuse of power.

In a recent post shared on Facebook, A Plus specifically called out ACP Arhin, the Greater Accra Regional Police Commander, and Theo, a police officer from the Madina Police Station.

A Plus claims that ACP Arhin is a criminal and that his presence in such a high position is contributing to the rise in crime in the country.

He points to the recent Adabraka armed robbery as an example of the police’s failure to protect citizens.

A Plus also criticizes Theo for locking up someone in their room even though they had been granted three months to vacate by the court.

He questions the authority of the police to lock up homes in purely civil disputes.

A Plus’s post has generated a big wave of reactions from Ghanaians on social media. Many netizens have expressed their support for A Plus and shared their own experiences with police corruption and abuse of power.

Kwame A Plus shared a story about a police officer from the Baatsona Police Station who allegedly released a criminal after sharing the victim’s mobile money with them.

A Plus vowed to get the officer interdicted and prevent them from misusing their authority to intimidate others.

He also spoke about the daily injustices faced by ordinary citizens, especially commercial drivers, at the hands of some police officers.

Kwame A Plus warned Danso, a police officer, not to exceed their authority and threatened to expose them if they stepped out of line.

The comments section of A Plus’s post is filled with similar stories of police misconduct and calls for reform.

It seems that A Plus’s public criticism has opened the eyes of many Ghanaians who are frustrated with the current state of the police service.

It remains to be seen whether A Plus’s actions will lead to any significant changes in the police service.
