Mrs. Comfort Agyepong (née Adjoa Badu), widow of the late Justice Kwadwo Agyei Agyepong, has passed away at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) after a prolonged illness.

Her son, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, a former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), announced her passing on Facebook, describing her as “a pillar of strength, love, and resilience.”

Mrs. Agyepong, who died on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, was the last surviving spouse of the Martyrs of the Rule of Law—three High Court judges, including her husband, who were kidnapped and brutally murdered on June 30, 1982, during the early days of the 31st December Revolution.
