Member of Parliament for the Assin Central Constituency, Kennedy Agyapong, has called on the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to acknowledge the current economic difficulties in the country as part of its campaign strategy for the 2024 General Elections.
At the launch of the NPP’s Ablekuma South Constituency election campaign, Mr. Agyapong stressed the importance of unity within the party to secure victory in the December 7 polls.
He urged the party to approach the campaign with humility, admitting past mistakes and recognizing the hardships faced by Ghanaians.
“Address the challenges the people are experiencing; only then can you earn their trust and support. We must openly acknowledge the economic difficulties, ask for another chance, and show that we have learned from our past experiences,” he advised.
He emphasized that everyone must rally behind Dr. Bawumia, the NPP’s flagbearer, to ensure a successful campaign.
