Joyce Dzidzor Mensah blasts Afia Schwazenegger, Journalists, political leaders and Aids Commision.

Former  AIDS ambassador Joyce Dzidzor Mensah has made a couple of allegations against the Ghana Aids Commission, Afia Swazeneger , Journalists etc.

Speaking in a live Facebook video on Friday 16^th October 2020 she said that politicians in Africa are killing its citizens, they use people like her and later dumped them. According to her our leaders write to foreign organisations for financial Aid to fight diseases like Malaria, AIDS, and Tuberculosis and when the funding comes it ends in the pockets of some Government officials.  She continued by saying that she is not the one who can make or unmake Mahama as president but it is only God who can make him but whatever she is doing is to make sure that the right people get the right information so that someone will blame her that she has spent huge sums of money.

Explaining further she said the HIV programmes that she embarked on she did not stand in front of a pulpit and preach that she is HIV positive and then move away but she did the following.

1. She learnt about HIV
2. The difference between HIV and AIDS
3. If a person contracts HIV how that person will stay for long so that he / she does not die
4. If a lady gets pregnant how she will not transfer the HIV to the unborn child.
5. Learnt of how a person who is HIV positive can marry and not transmit the disease to the partner.

After explain all these she asked former NBA champion Magic Johnson came out publicly that he was an HIV patient so how many of us know whether it was true or not because that is not what everyone was looking at because there is no difference between a person who has the virus and the one who does not have so if Magic Johnson allowed himself to be used as an ambassador and he did not show his results to the public that does not mean that he is not doing anything.

ATTACK ON AFIA SCHWAZENEGGER

On the issue between her and Afia she played an interview she had with Afia in the year 2016 when Afia was by then employee with UTV in which Afia insulted her during the interview that N.D.C. paid her eight hundred Ghana cedis (800 gh) to do a programme and she is not greedy but after they did posters and documentary about her she did not receive the said amount. She mentioned one Angela EL Dalas who cancelled the contract with no reason.

Joyce played second video of Afia Schwarzenegger which happened to be her current video that she did to bash the N.D.C party of how they used her without getting anything from the party and why she is now supporting N.P.P because his brother has been employed at the jubilee house by the N.P.P administration. Joyce then asked Afia which job she did for the N.D.C. that she says she was hungry and they never paid her for it. Joyce accused Afia that about four years ago she insulted her that she was a thief so if today Afia is saying that N.D.C. party did not reward her then she is saying that Afia too is a thief, because she wants the tax payers money to be given to her because she has loud mouth so John Mahama should pay her.

Apart from all these accusations Joyce went on further to accuse Afia that all the flashy cars she displays on social media are all rented cars and she does not have any office as he she portrays everyday on social media and if she has a meaningful job the whole Ghana would know.  If curses really work then according to Joyce she cursed Afia about four years ago after she interviewed her and hem mum cried so bitterly and there is no way Afia will get a place to work in her life time and she will continue to insult people till the end of time. Also after accusing her for killing her  former boyfriend who wanted to kill her because of her vehicle when Afia did a programme to tarnish her image and all this while she was in pain nursing a kid whose father had died.

ACCUSED GHANAIAN JOURNALISTS

Speaking further Joyce accused journalists in Ghana that they are lazy because when an issue crops up all they do is to pick a phone and call the individual and interview him or her and after that nothing happens instead of them to do a follow up on the story to find out the truth they don’t do that and she sees it as lazy journalism.

Apart from that she continued by saying that all the information that she was giving out she believed that it will never be reported but whether they report it or not her message will be received by Global fund because she has some of them as her Facebook friends so they will receive the message.

AIDS COMMISION

On the revelations of Ghana Aids Commission, she said there was a time she received a letter from a school in Tarkwa for a programme and upon all the monies the commission received from donor countries they do not have time for the people of Ghana.  The reason why she made this allegation is that after receiving invitations from these schools even money for fuel to travel to the place they will say there is no money but later they agreed and a vehicle which belonged to the Ghana Aids Commission was released and she travelled with it. During the programme the kids asked her so many questions which depicted that there was more work to be done there to save these kids so when she got to Accra she informed Angela of the commission that she has to return to the school in Tarkwa to do the programme again but Angela declined and told her that she can’t go to one place two times.

She blamed Angela that upon all the monies the commission had Angela did not have time for the people of Ghana so if she can’t go to Tarkwa to do a programme for these kids on two occasions then what were they doing with the monies at the commission from foreign donors so when they receive the funds they don’t do anything with it.

Joyce narrated how workaholic she is by working for the commission to save a lot of people’s life. She recounted how people call her of how they benefited from her outreach programmes and how some of them got the boldness to come out to tell others that they were HIV positive, and a lot of people told her that had it not been her they would have not known their HIV status. So after all these they were not even able to show one advert on TV because they had spent all the funds and further went on to tell Global fund in the video that the commission used her and dumped her.

She told the Global fund in the video of how they saw how hardworking she was and later invited her to Tokyo for a programme but later cancelled the trip by listening to the Ghana Aids Commission. According to her she cried so bitterly but there was nothing she could do at that time.
