IGP Dampare Storms Jubilee House With a Simple Message to President Mahama

The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr. George Akuffo Dampare led a delegation of Ghana’s top security officials to the Jubilee House for a brief but symbolic meeting with President John Dramani Mahama. He was there to send a simple message to him and also to reaffirm the loyalty of the security services to President Mahama as Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces.

Dr. Dampare, known for his disciplined leadership and commitment to law enforcement, delivered a simple yet powerful message of unwavering support to the President.

In his remarks, IGP Dampare assured President Mahama of the Ghana Police Service’s readiness to maintain peace and security across the country. He emphasized that under his leadership, the police force would remain professional, impartial, and committed to safeguarding the lives and property of Ghanaians.

President Mahama, expressed his gratitude to Dr. Dampare and the entire security delegation. He praised the IGP’s dedication to modernizing the police service and strengthening public trust. The President noted that a professional and efficient police service is crucial for maintaining peace and fostering national development.

Aside the Inspector General of Police’s presence, the Chief of Defence Staff and other heads of various security departments were present.

Their presence at the ceremony show their influential role in Ghana’s security framework. Their leadership roles have been widely recognized for implementing reforms aimed at improving security operations and building stronger ties with the public.

This pledge of loyalty by the IGP and other security leaders comes at a time when national unity and security are key priorities for the Mahama administration.
