It is the prayer of Krontihene of Akyem Asoum, Nana Boadi Amponim Obo-dade III, that Ghana does not get a leader like Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo ever again in her history.
He says even though the President is one who had access to enough revenue and opportunities, there is nothing to show other than looting the state’s resources.
Apart from looting, he indicated that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is the only leader in the country to have humiliated and disrespected chiefs in the country.
Nana Boadi Amponim Obo-dade III who was addressing their media said “It was quite clear but people just didn’t realize it. Some of us are happy that his reign is over. A lot of the chiefs are happy.
A good friend of mine who is also a chief told me once that let’s see if he will come around and instruct chiefs to wakeup and greet him. It is not a good legacy, he could have done more, he had so much revenue, he had so much he could have done for this country and so we pray we don’t get another Akufo-Addo to be president of Ghana”.
