I got nothing from NPP’s 8 years in power while others were ‘chopping good’ – Jennifer Queen

Jennifer Queen, the Deputy Communications Director of the NPP, isn’t holding back on her frustration over how she and other loyal party members were treated under former President Akufo-Addo’s administration.

In an interview on Okay FM, she revealed the struggles they faced just to access the president, despite their hard work in securing the party’s success. “You will meet people with frowning faces and attitudes just because you want to see the president—the same person we are working for.

“They assume you are coming for money,” she lamented. She shared how her visits to the presidency were often to secure scholarships and opportunities for others, yet those who assisted her faced victimization. “When someone helps you meet the president, these same people at the presidency go after them and fight them,” she added.

Despite her contributions, she says she has received no benefits from the party’s eight years in power. “What did I get? Nothing—not a contract, not even a small GH₵5,000 Free Zones project.

“If anyone can say I was given a market project, a school project, or even a gutter contract, they should prove it,” she challenged.
