In a recent interview, Asare disclosed that her exit from the industry was not just a mere decision, but a necessary step to protect her life. According to her, the industry was plagued by spiritual attacks and poisoning, which she fell victim to.
“I faced so many spiritual attacks and poisoning attempts that nearly took my life,” Asare revealed. “I couldn’t take it anymore, and I knew I had to leave the industry to save myself.”
Portia Asare, who was once a household name in the Kumawood movie industry, stated that the attacks were not only physical but also spiritual. She claimed that she was targeted by jealous colleagues and industry players who sought to destroy her career and life.
The actress, who has been off the screens for some time now, expressed her reluctance to return to the industry, citing the traumatic experiences she had.
