Former constituency youth organiser for the New Patriotic Party for Ofankor in the Greater Accra region, Emmanuel Adutwum has shared a sad ordeal on how the New Patriotic Party used him for 26 years and dumped him when they had no use of him anymore.
Sharing his true life story on Original TV, Emmanuel Adutwum who had been a constituency polling station agent since 1999, said he was no longer a member of the New Patriotic Party again after the 2020 elections.
He said they were promised to be trained as Accra City Response Team but after they spent millions of cedis and went through rigorous training exercises at Bondase peace keeping centre, the party never fulfilled their promise. He said right after the training, everyone was left to their fate and all their investments went into the drain.
According to him, one thing he observed about the New Patriotic Party is that once they realise you have no use for them, they dump you. When they came back to power, he said his MP and DCE were no longer answering his phone calls.
“The thing is, they will use you until you are no longer useful to them then they will remove your name. They brought Accra city response team to Bondase Peace Keeping Centre. We spent much on item and spent about 3 months or more through vigorous exercise. We thought we would be able to get jobs after the training. After the training, they never employed us. We were told they will establish centres for us to serve as a quick response team” he lamented.
