Hollistar Duah-Yentumi seeks injunction against SIC Insurance & James Agyenim-Boateng

The High Court in Accra is set to hear an injunction filled by one Hollistar Duah-Yentumi against SIC Insurance PLC and James Agyenim-Boateng, who has been appointed as the Managing Director.

Hollistar Duah-Yentumi has refused to hand over her office to the newly appointed Managing Director.

Reports indicate that Hollistar Duah-Yentumi locked the offices and withheld the keys when James Aggyenim Boateng went to the Headquarters to introduce himself to the staff.

James Agyenim Boateng, who spoke in an interview with Citi FM, said Hollistar refused to join the meeting when he was in the facility to introduce himself.

“It has become apparent that the real difficulty regarding why I have not been able to access the office is because my predecessor has actually locked up the office and bolted with the keys. It is strange,” Agyenim-Boateng stated.

Hollistar has therefore filed an interlocutory injunction for James Agyenim Boateng not to be recognized as the Managing Director of the State Insurance Company.
