The FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber has ruled in favor of Ghanaian forward, Augustine Okrah in a payment dispute with Tanzanian club Young Africans Sport Club (Yanga SC).

According to the decision, Yanga SC is required to pay $24,400 to Okrah as outstanding remuneration owed to him during his time at the club.

The decision, partially accepting Okrah’s claim, also imposed a warning and a $3,000 fine on Yanga SC, which must be paid to FIFA within 30 days of notification.

If Yanga SC fails to comply with the ruling and make full payment, including applicable interest, within 45 days, they face further sanctions.

Among the possible consequences is a ban preventing the club from registering any new players, either domestically or internationally, for up to three consecutive registration periods. If the payment remains unsettled, FIFA’s Disciplinary Committee could be involved for further action.

Okrah currently plays for Ghana Premier League side Bechem United after leaving Yanga.
