The recent upsurge of the corona virus has been blamed on politicians especially the two main political parties in Ghana that’s N.D.C. and N.P.P. for not adhering to the protocols associated with the corona virus.
The general secretary of the N.P.P. however have issued a statement suspending all health walks across the country, as well as all social gatherings.
In responding to this in an interview on Joy Fm in Accra on news nite Wednesday 11th November, the National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (N.D.C) Samuel Ofosu Ampofo responded by saying that the blame should not be put at the doorstep of the politicians but rather those who brought the law into existence because when you bring a law into existence you have to enforce it so that the law works.
Speaking further he said that his Excellency the President signed the executive instrument and is guilty of breaking the protocols and should have ensured that the orders were obeyed to the latter. As time went by one would realize that they themselves were relaxing creating the impression as if there is nothing at stake.
Apart from that they on their part have admonished their followers to wear mask.
