The Cyber Security Authority (CSA) has confirmed that President Mahama’s official X account, @JDMahama was “compromised”.

The CSA in a statement on March 18 said it received report about the ‘hacking’ of the President’s X account in the early hours of Monday, March 17, 2025.

The statement added that the account was used to promote a cryptocurrency called “Solana Africa”.

The CSA said the issue is being addressed as it is working closely with X and other relevant stakeholders to address this incident and to prevent future occurrences.

The CSA will provide further updates as the investigation progresses.
