A fiery sermon delivered by Bro. Dr. (H.c) Dan Owusu Asiamah of Missionary Churches of Christ has sparked controversy, as he vehemently criticized Vice Presidential candidate NAPO for comparing President Akufo-Addo to Ghana’s first president, Kwame Nkrumah.
Addressing his congregation, Dr. Asiamah expressed outrage over NAPO’s statement, labeling it a “disrespect” to Nkrumah’s legacy. He emphasized that Nkrumah’s administration was free from the corruption, galamsey, and lootings that have allegedly plagued Akufo-Addo’s government.
The religious leader passionately defended Nkrumah’s development record, highlighting his achievements in building and developing the country. He contrasted this with the current administration’s perceived shortcomings, including the controversial national cathedral project.
Dr. Asiamah’s scathing critique of NAPO and the Akufo-Addo administration has sparked debate, with some supporting his stance and others viewing it as political bias. The incident has added to the ongoing public discourse on Ghana’s political landscape.
