The Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party in the Ashanti Region, Chairman Wontumi has responded to the claims from Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah over his arrest in 2021.
According to the story, Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah claims that Chairman Wontumi called him on the phone when he was arrested by the police and told him (Owusu Bempah) to give his support to Bawumia by calling another pastor to confirm.
Speaking on this issue, Chairman Wontumi boldly said that, he does not know anything about Owusu Bempah’s arrest and he will not sit down for the man of God to disgrace him by speaking lies about him.
” I will not sit down for Prophet Owusu Bempah to Disgrace me with lies. I don’t know anything. It was after he was arrested and I investigated to know that he was arrested because of an issue he had with Nana Agraada”. – Chairman Wontumi stated.
