Catholic priest falls in love & marries

25 Oct

A Catholic priest explained his decision to leave the seminary and get married by stating that God, in his wisdom, had a legitimate reason for creating men and women.

In the Catholic tradition, priests are meant to dedicate themselves to a life of celibacy, but Reverend Father Edwin Gathang’i Waiguru, a Catholic priest consecrated in Kenya, has upset the status quo.

“It is possible to serve God and have a family and have a lovely wife.

“God did not make a mistake when he created a man and a woman and He said it is not good for somebody to be alone,” Father Waiguru is quoted as saying.

After being given the responsibility of preaching across North and South America, Father Waiguru claimed that he felt obliged to get married and start a family.

Upon his return to Kenya, he made the decision to get married according to custom, and he currently has two children with his spouse.

He claimed to have completed his priestly duties and has now joined the Catholic Charismatic church, a sect.
