Controversial media personality, Captain Smart, has made a startling revelation about the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) internal struggles.
According to Caiptain Smart, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia initially proposed Inspector General of Police (IGP), George Akufo-Addo Dampare, as his running mate, but the party’s officials rejected the suggestion.
Captain Smart alleged that the NPP government has lost favor with both the military and police forces, prompting them to attempt to replace IGP Dampare.
He claimed that the government approached IGP Dampare to secure his support with a contingent of police officers, but the IGP declined, prioritizing Ghana’s interests over political loyalty.
