In a fiery interview on Onua TV, National Democratic Congress (NDC) Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia has accused the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of launching a “concert manifesto” to divert attention from their alleged plans to rig the upcoming elections through the voters register.
Asiedu Nketia claimed that the NPP’s manifesto, launched in Takoradi, was a mere smokescreen aimed at distracting Ghanaians from the party’s true intentions. He alleged that the NPP’s real focus is on manipulating the electoral process to their advantage.
“The NPP wants to divert attention from the voters register with their concert manifesto,” Asiedu Nketia stated categorically. “They are trying to rig the upcoming elections, and we will not allow it.”
This latest salvo from the NDC chairman raises the stakes in the political arena, with the opposition party vowing to scrutinize the electoral process closely. The NPP has yet to respond to these allegations, but the accusations are likely to fuel further debate and tension in the lead-up to the 2024 elections.
