Asante Kotoko has reported that two of its players have gone missing from the team’s camp in the United States.

The club identified the players as defender Esmat Abdulhamid Mohamed Al Hasan and forward AbdoelKarem AbdoelRahman Yoouef Yagoub, stating that they left the camp without authorization on Friday, October 11.

In response, Kotoko has alerted U.S. law enforcement, including the FBI, and is actively cooperating with authorities to ensure the safe return of the players.

The team had travelled to the U.S. to participate in the Capital City Africa Cup match against Major League Soccer (MLS) club DC United.

However, Kotoko has withdrawn from the match after several of its players were denied visas by the U.S. Embassy in Ghana.
