Afia Schwarzenegger, a popular Ghanaian actress and social media influencer, has sparked controversy with her recent comments on TikTok. She openly criticized Ghanaian pastors whom she claims they have plans to do everything possible for former President John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to win an election in the upcoming December 7th election.
Afia claimed to have obtained a secret audio recording of prominent Ghanaian pastors allegedly plotting against the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Vice President Bawumia, solely because of his Muslim faith. According to her, these pastors aim to manipulate Ghanaians into voting against Bawumia due to his religion.
“These pastors are ugly to me because what I heard them saying in the audio against Bawumia shows that they’re not truly men of God,” Afia stated.
The Ghanaian entertainment industry is known for its vibrant personalities and heated disputes. Afia Schwarzenegger’s recent remarks have added fuel to the fire, sparking conversations about politics, religion, and the role of influencers in shaping public opinion.
As the December 7th election approaches, Afia’s comments will likely continue to generate buzz. Will her influence impact voter decisions, or will her critics dismiss her views as mere celebrity drama?
